Flip key shell Peugeot 1007 (4-button, CE0536, VA2)

New Peugeot 1007 remote key shell. With the new shell you can repair the broken plastic parts of an old key. Just transfer the electronics and the metal key from the old key into the new shell. Replacing the key shell does not require key programming.

Repair service: If you do not want to replace the new shell yourself or there is another fault with the key, you can send the key to us for repair (contact us).

Note: check the battery position in the key. In this shell the battery is fastened to the base of the shell. CE0536 is printed on the side of the key.

Instructions for replacing the Peugeot remote shell:

1. Open the Peugeot or Citroen key remote shell with a 5-cent coin (in the groove on the ring).

2. Remove the circuit board from the old key. Turn the stiletto key into a position where you can see the round locking pin at the base of the key. Support the key so that you can knock the locking pin out of the hole using a punch and a hammer (for example, against the edge of a hard table). Once the locking pin is removed, pull the key blade out of the shell. After this, transfer the old circuit board and key into the new shell (open the new remote the same way as the old shell). Put the locking pin back in place (easiest to press it in with pliers).

3. Press the shells closed by squeezing the parts together.

Microswitches: In addition to the plastic shells, the microswitches soldered to the circuit board often break. Shell buyers can get 2 microswitches for 8€ (normally 12€).
